Chances are if you have a flatbed or other platform trailer then you are familiar with the North Dakota oil fields. There are tons of equipment coming in and out of that region keeping entire fleets busy with the amount of work they have up there.

I can’t envy the drivers when it comes to the cold up there, but the business they are doing is fantastic. Special thanks to our driver Mike Terry who hauled some vapor recovery towers which is a type of equipment used for the oil fields. He was hauling these towers to Colorado. Mike pulls a 48′ spread axle trailer with coil racks and pipe stakes. He doesn’t carrier tarps and if I was traveling in the middle of a polar vortex with sub zero temperatures, I wouldn’t enjoy tarping either.
